What is the WTA Program?​

A WOCN® Society endorsed wound care educational program developed to meet the growing need for skilled wound care providers across all care settings.

Evidence-based continuing education course worth 24.0 contact hours that meets international standards of care and prepares participants for the WTA-C certification.

Online course taught by experts in the field from across the nation, with comprehensive hands-on training and testing by a local expert.

What is unique about this offering?​

In addition to the standard online program above, this course will also include sessions specific to care of the geriatric client in various settings (three days of in-person lectures, hands-on education, and exposure to various wound care products and technology throughout the course).

The opportunity to network with fellow health professionals learning wound care across the region.

Open to RNs, LPNs. Rehab Therapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other interested health professionals interested in learning more about wound care, regardless of place of employment.

Course times are geared toward the working professional: three days of onsite education provided over 3 months (1 day per month) and CEU courses offered in one-hour segments that may be conveniently completed from home by the participant on an individual basis.
